Matthew 9:9 -
"As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew, sitting in the tax collector's booth; and He said to him, 'Follow Me!' And he got up and followed him."
LIMA, TRUJILLO, AND CHEPEN 2010!!
As you pray about joining us for this trip I want you to ask God one thing and one thing only:
AM I CALLED?
When Christ called Matthew in Matthew 9:9 He didn't ask Matthew if he had the finances, the open schedule, the talents necessary, etc.. The only thing that Matthew needed to know was that he was called by Christ! That was the all sufficient nudge that led Matthew to take up the call and follow Jesus' beckoning.
If you are called the schedule will work out, the finances will come in, etc..
The only question you must ask is "ARE YOU CALLED?"

The Lord has really been at work this last year in Shekinah Gloria Ministries, Inc!!
This upcoming trip is an amazing opportunity for us to really focus on personal contact in the community surrounding our school and to reach out in Trujillo, Lima and a small city by the name of Chepen.
We will be doing various events:
Will will hold between 15-20 outreach events, visit some amazing ancient ruins and unique cultural sites, do some shopping and sightseeing, and immerse ourselves in the Peruvian culture. It is our goal to not only bring our team from the US to bless the people of Peru, but to bless the brother and sisters from the United States and show them the wonderful culture of the Peruvian people.
Our last trip to Peru we saw approximately 1,000 sincere decisions for Jesus Christ, gave away nearly 3 tons of food and supplies, held nearly 20 events and saw thousands of lives touched! Please pray about joining us or supporting the effort and pray for an even greater harvest this trip!!
We will be ministering in various facets and enjoying many new cultural experiences. The only thing we ask from the team is to be open to God's moving, ready for anything, and to be willing to try new things! Please pray for God to stir your heart or close the door according to His will. We want people who come to be sincerely desiring to be used of God and ready to do whatever the Lord would lead! Write to us or call if you would like information packets on the trip.
The total price per individual will end up being between $1,250 and $1,400 depending on the airfare rates we obtain. We will do our best to keep the price as low as possible and please note that this includes EVERY SINGLE EXPENSE (yes, even tourist sites) you incur while on the trip other than personal purchases. We are looking for people to make a dedication to come on the trip by April 18th (let us know if this will be an issue), so please be in prayer that the Lord would lead you according to His will!
