Shekinah Gloria Ministries is currently in the process of expanding our school in Trujillo, Peru. We have been functioning as a not-for-profit since 2007 and have been working as an extended ministry from Word of Life Assembly of God since 2005.
We are trying to finish construction and licensing on our school so that we can move from a private entity and obtain federal licensing in Peru. Our church has grown to about 50-60 congregants and we have a staff of 10 working with our minsitry in Peru. We are currently in the process of obtaining our not-for-profit (ONG) status in Peru so that we can operate as a full legal entity in Peru and search out governmental support for the work we are doing in that country.
Although we have done work in four African nations, we don't forsee any work in Africa for at least another year.
We do plan on doing work in Europe by the end of 2010 and possibly holding crusades to win over Muslims in Pakistan in 2010 if the Lord should open that door.
We are in the planning stages of our next missions trip to Peru and two options on the table include Cusco and Iquitos, Peru in 2010. If you or your church is interested in more information please CONTACT US.
Our ultimate goal is to plant churches and schools in areas where the gospel has not yet truly taken root. We desire to utilize home missionaries within countries and assist them with financial and spiritual guidance so that we can expand the kingdom of God, one person at a time!
Please pray that the Lord would be opening doors for us to reach out to those in need, that the funds would continue to come in, and that Jesus would keep us on the pulse of what He wants to do in these last days.
We believe that the call to "GO" is the most essential call in the Word of God for believers in these times. As such, believers should be equipped to reach their friends,
communities, and the entire world! We are in the preparation stages for future discipleship and evangelism training and our president is currently finishing writing a book on discipleship. Eventually we would love to hold weekend crusades/seminars to help equip believers for service and to produce a documentary-style missions resource.
Please keep our efforts in your prayers, and ask the Lord to give us wisdom in our future endeavors to go as the Spirit of God would lead us.
