Nuevo Jordan Elementary School
Just outside the bustling city of Trujillo, Peru lies a small farming village
named La Carbonera. This is the home to some of the poorer families in all of Peru-
many of whom live off of just $100-$200 annually!
Sadly this was an area of hopelessness. Children grew up working on the farmlands from a very young age. There were no nearby schools, churches, or stores and to most it would look as though the people of La Carbonera had gone forgotten...
But the Lord would have other plans! He called Pastor Flor De Maria
to begin a small Sunday school which our founders, Rev. Matthew & Aracelli Cullipher,
would assist with financially to provide the travel expenses and some food for the impoverished children who attended.
With the assistance of Word of Life Assembly of God in Baldwinsville, NY
Matthew & Aracelli decided to build a school and renovate an old abandoned church.
The school was aptly named Nuevo Jordan (The New Jordan) and classes officially commensed in 2005.
The school has since flourished and currently 58 students attend
Nuevo Jordan Elementary School!! With an international staff of 18
the Cullipher Family have been in the process of expanding the school and finishing paperwork and construction to have national educational credentials.
The school has housed various community outreaches and adult educational courses free of charge and all students attending receive FREE clothing, education, and daily meals.
It is only by your assistance and the grace of God that this work may continue so please consider sponsoring a child today or make a one time donation!
+ This year, 2011, we have set up a program where our secondary (Junior High and High School) students will be able to attend a well known school in Trujillo. We have paid their basic education costs, transportation, etc.. and the school has waived tuition fees in order to work with us and help these impoverished children to receive a quality education!
Even with that cut in our budget we have a minimum monthly budget of $1,300/monthly. We often average closer to $1,800/monthly with all of the additional costs that are not in our fixed monthly budget.
We have struggled much to ensure a free and quality education for these precious children and we are praying that the Lord will honor our step of faith and help us to raise sufficient funding to help these precious children!
We currently average between $800-$1,000 per month in donations and sponsorship and that leaves us with a $400-$600 average monthly deficit!
Please pray about helping us with this great need by means of a one time donation, ongoing school sponsorship, or even monthly child sponsorship!
PLEASE HELP US TO HELP THEM!!!
Thanks to donations by various individuals we are advancing many things at the school and we are currently repairing our back wall. The pictures will be up here soon!

If we had the funding here's what we would do at Nuevo Jordan...
-Purchase land to set up a small farm in order to help the school to be more self-sustaining and to build a larger facility to house the student growth. We currently pack out some of our small classrooms with 25+ children and it is hard to operate in such a manner.
-Purchase our own school license under our newly formed 'corporation' NUEVO JORDAN. The school has much of it's legal paperwork in order, but the license we use is a private license purchased from another school annually, this means that we cannot petition funds or support from the local governments and businesses in Peru. If we had our own license in the name of Nuevo Jordan we could help the school to be more autonomous and even to expand!! -There's dozens more that we could mention, but we ask you to pray for the two above petitions and together we will see lives changed in La Carbonera, Peru!
